Serenity Abounds - "Importance of Positioning in Your Home and Office". The two main pieces of furniture that determine your position for the majority of your lifetime are your bed and desk. If they are placed in a commanding position, you will give yourself the benefits for peace, success and empowerment.
Desk Position - facing the door but not in direct alignment with it. Your back should be securely positioned against a wall and your view should be of the largest expanse of the room. If you have no choice but to face the wall with your back or side to the door, hang a mirror with an adhesive backing that can be placed on the top front surface of your computer.
Bed Position - If you are lying on your bed and cannot see the door, try to reposition your bed in a more empowering position. If you are limited structurally, then a mirror can be hung on the opposite wall to strengthen your position so you can see who is entering. Headboard should be flush against the wall (a non-bathroom wall) with space to walk around.
